The gold ball is often called the beginner or basic ball. This makes it the ideal ball for people to use who are new to practicing YBR®.
The gold ball not only has a softer feel, but it also provides a larger surface are for your body to sink into. The softer material allows the body to “sink into” the ball more easily. This is the ball we recommend for most abdominal work, chest routines and working the sideline. Furthermore, we highly recommend using the gold ball for lower back issues and during pregnancy. This is also the case for people suffering from osteoprosis and fibromyalgia. Individuals who are recovering from surgery and/or undergoing rehabilitation should always start their Yamuna Practice with the gold ball.
